Sailing
While sightseeing in this city you will surely be impressed by the well-known cathedral Sv. Jakov, the most important renaissance structure in Croatia. A city, whose name was spoken by kings, Mother Nature has provided with a wealth of islands and islets encompassed by blue sea, as well as the fascinating landscape of Krka National Park. Here you will find that every hour will be filled with a variety of activities!
Day 2. Rogoznica – a small fishermen town, located in a deep bay, hidden from blows of an open sea. Because of its great location (34 km south from Sibenik and 34 km north from Split airport), numerous historical monuments, natural beauties, Rogoznica was always and still is one of the most wanted and most attractive touristic destinations on the Adriatic coast. Rogoznica offers to its visitors peace and a great vacation, partly because of an impression of a quiet and peaceful Mediterranean place. If you are one of the sea and boat lovers, exploring the eternal mysteries of the sea, well protected harbor will give you opportunity to rest. We recommend you to visit cave Milina and enjoy in the beauties of a lake, a natural phenomenon, as a part of this unique unity.
Day 3. Necujam (island of Solta) - Necujam on the island Solta near Split, is a favorite excursion location that lures visitors with the beauty of its quiet cove. Its ferry service from Split has turned it into a place that many people from Split chose as an excursion destination, while we present it to you as a vacation spot.
Day 4. Jelsa (island of Hvar) – Located in the central part of the island of Hvar, clean, friendly and most important architectural beautiful, Jelsa is an important touristic center on the northern coast of a center part of this island. This charming town, surrounded by pines, beautiful beaches, vineyards and olive-yards, give Jelsa an attractive power. Jelsa used to be one of the biggest and most important maritime, ship-building and commercial centers on the Adriatic sea. All transatlantic sailing-boats, loaded with best wines, olive-oil and salted fish began their sailing from Jelsa, a harbor of acknowledged sailors (captain Niko Dubokovic). Jelsa is first mentioned in 14th century, but some archaeological discoveries testify about its long history.
Day 5. Makarska - Right from the very beginnings the town of Makarska has been the center of the micro-region, Makarska Riviera, owing to its geographical position, cultural and historical importance. Makarska is the largest city along the 60-km long Makarska Riviera, an attractive summer vacation spot which draws a number of tourists because of its variety of tourist offers. The exceptional beauty of its pebble and sand beaches, coves and surrounding fir tree forests were previously noticed even by the historic Cretans. Located at the base of Biokova, the most attractive Karst Mountains, Makarska offers alpine adventures at the same time.
Day 6. Milna (island of Brac) and Trogir – This little and typical Adriatic town is located in the bottom of a bay on the western part of the island. This is one of the best protected marinas on the Adriatic coast. It is well adorned and opened all year round. Marina Milna gives to all nautical a possibility to enjoy beauties of unique coast.
ACI marina Milna is located in the southeastern part of Milna bay, opposite to the town of Milna. The marina has 144 berths and 15 boat places on the ground.
Trogir – Trogir is an ideal place to continue your cruise. This Dalmatian, with medieval walls surrounded charming town will give you your best experience with the Dalmatian culture, customs and food.
ACI marina Trogir is located in the northern coast of island Ciovo. Marina has 162 berths and 35 boat places on the ground and it is open all year round.
Day 7. Vodice and Primosten - One of the biggest touristic destination on the Adriatic coast, known for its numerous contents. Vodice were first mentioned in 1402. One of the most important historical monuments in Vodice is church of St. Kriz located on the old graveyard, built in 1421.; baroque church from 1746.
ACI marina Vodice is located in the northeastern part of port Vodice (bay Vrulje). It is open all year round, and has 290 berths and 60 boat places on the ground.
Primosten – Sailors named this town «suha punta» (dry port) because of its long-lasting dry periods, and its inhabitants called it Primosten. Located on an island, surrounded by seven islets, Primosten is a true gift from nature. Once a fishermen place, today Primosten has grown into a true touristic paradise. It is hard to resist a charm that Primosten has to offer. Enjoy the true spirit of Dalmatia.
