See you here next year!

If you’ve already been to Croatia you’ve surely been dazzled by the sparkling sea, translucent and inviting, offering views of its floor from meters and meters above. It doesn’t just look pristine. It was ranked pristine too, with the European Environment Agency’s findings establishing it to be the second cleanest bathing water in Europe, beat out only by those of Cyprus and immediately followed by the waters of Malta.

Lagoon 500 - Indian Summer

Lagoon 500: living

  • on deck
  • inside
  • for long cruises

Lagoon expertise

  • infusion-moulding for increased weight saving (important for a catamaran), an optimal structure, and greater protection for the environment and shipbuilders
  • interior woodwork in Alpi® reconstituted wood, a sustainable source that comes in a choice of finishes: light oak or teak
  • vertical glazing for better protection against the sun and optimal space and height below deck
  • gull-wing bridge deck for greater comfort in heavy seas
  • VPLP design: performance under sail guaranteed!

Above deck

  • fly bridge with two access points, helm station provides perfect visibility and a bench seat that can accommodate the entire crew
  • spacious cockpit, ideal for sunbathing, on the same level as the galley. Includes foldable table in the rigid bimini and two ventilation panels
  • a second cockpit on the foredeck for increased comfort
  • particularly safe and effective transom platforms for boarding or accessing the dinghy

Below decks

  • large saloon with dining table for eight persons
  • U-shaped galley for greater comfort at sea, close to the dining table
  • galley designed for easy installation of additional equipment (freezer, 2nd refrigerator, dishwasher…)
  • excellent natural lighting in the saloon, the cabins (large hull windows) and the washrooms and includes very effective ventilation
  • an owner's cabin worthy of the name (even in the 4-cabin version) and luxurious guest cabins
  • the Lagoon 500 comes in three different versions:
    • private version with 3 cabins: large owner's cabin with a small lounge, office, dressing-room, plenty of stowage space, washroom with all conveniences, including a separate large shower and separate heads. At the head of the bed, aft on the starboard side, a panel provides stunning views, lighting and ventilation
    • private version with 4 cabins: three VIP cabins and a slightly smaller owner's suite
    • charter version with 5 cabins: layout identical to that of the private version with 4 cabins except for the forward starboard companionway which also provides access to a cabin with two bunk beds and a washroom
  • engines are far from the living areas and perfectly insulated

Performances

« A boat designed for long-distance cruising with all facilities, the Lagoon 500 is a fine performer under sail… »
Mer & Bateaux, FR – January 2006

« After several days' sailing, I was particularly impressed by the boat's performance in light winds »

Land of the modern-day Odysseus

Sprinkled like pearl drops across the crystal clear blue of the sea, the 1,244 islands, isles, cliffs, reefs and rocks that comprise the Croatian Adriatic provide 1,244 unique reasons to dream of sailing adventure. Almost ideally distributed, with distances between them not exceeding 10 nm, along a coastline extending 5,835 km, from Istria to Dubrovnik, Croatia’s islands offer a real challenge to every modern-day Odysseus. With over 1500 coves, bays and ports on islands and the mainland where one can find a berth, drop anchor or stay overnight, the Croatian Adriatic is the very place for sailing under full sail, for a motorboat cruise, or for simply enjoying the sea by boat for recreational fishing.

Do you love Dubrovnik as much as we do?

Do you love Dubrovnik as much as we do?
Dubrovnik, with its red tiled roofs and sparkling blue sea, is quintessentially Mediterranean. Once a mere stop on cruise circuits, the so-called pearl of the Adriatic is quickly becoming a destination in its own right thanks to its stunning scenery and rich history. Dubrovnik is creating a buzz as a celebrity vacation destination, and it recently snagged second place among the ten most talked about travel destinations on Facebook.

We love island Vis!

Pristine beaches, lush vegetation, unspoiled natural beauty. All the coastal cliches you can think of apply to Vis, an island of vineyards and fishing towns. A true getaway, Vis is the furthest inhabited island from the coast, but regular ferries from Split make visiting easy. Apart from the magical Blue Grotto on the nearby island of Bisevo, there’s not a whole lot of sightseeing to be done on Vis, so take advantage: find a secluded beach, take a deep breath, and relax.

Hvar, just do it

Hvar may well be the sexiest of Croatia’s destinations. The island paradise came in eighth in the Top 10 European Islands category of Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards 2011 and made Lonely Planet’s 2012 Top Regions for 2012 at number five. Just an hour away from Croatia’s second largest city, Split, this glamourous destination is buzzing most nights of the week throughout the summer and spring but also has numerous secluded beaches nearby for getaways.
